We support local transformation:
Support parishes in assessing and responding to material, psychological, and spiritual needs in local neighborhoods.
Recruit lay missionaries for parish outreach.
Assist in establishing lay missionary communities at local parishes.
Offer formation for lay missionaries.
Support local beautification projects.
Host an annual interdisciplinary conference in which artists, scientists, mathematicians, musicians, poets, and other scholars present work that explores and communicates beauty across disciplines.
Just like St. Francis was asked to rebuild the Church back in the 13th century, we recognize that today, we are all called to rebuild our Church. Many parishes face a critical shortage of resources, while their local neighborhood also faces material, psychological, and/or spiritual needs. Active lay missionary communities near or at the local Church help address these needs. In collaboration with the Church, they reach out to the neighborhood, respond to needs, receive gifts, and work with their neighbors to beautify individuals and communities.
