We support parish revitalization by:
Providing free proposals for mission-based revitalization.
Assessing and responding to material, psychological, and spiritual needs in local neighborhoods.
Recruiting lay missionaries for parish outreach.
Assisting parishes in establishing lay missionary communities.
Offering formation for lay missionaries.
Supporting local beautification projects.
Historically, the parish served as a local hub—a sacred place where the neighborhood gathered for worship, bringing both its needs and its gifts.
As St. Francis was asked to rebuild the Church back in the 13th century, we recognize that today, we are all called to rebuild our Church. Many parishes face a critical shortage of resources, while the local neighborhood also faces material, psychological, and/or spiritual needs.
At Forma Mundi, we believe that a living relationship with the surrounding neighborhood is essential to parish (and neighborhood) revitalization. We support parishes in fostering this relationship by inviting local neighbors to offer their unique gifts through the life of the Church, while the Church, in turn, responds to local needs. Through this exchange of love, neighborhoods are transformed and parishes are renewed, restoring the Church as a source of love at the heart of the community.
